Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Training

This is the third session of a three session course training catechists in The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). See the 2026 formation schedule here.
Please note that participants must attend all three sessions. Pre-registration is required. You may not simply show up without signing up, or materials will not be ready for you!
CGS is a reflective-based catechetical program for children ages 3-12 that helps them further develop their relationship with God in a developmentally appropriate way. It is rooted in Sacred Scripture, Sunday worship, and Maria Montessori's educational philosophy.
Formation for those facilitating CGS involves at least ninety hours of in-person learning and is open to all catechists and parents.

- Inside Diocese of Bridgeport - $35 payable to the Diocese of Bridgeport.
- Outside the Diocese of Bridgeport - $335 payable to the Diocese of Bridgeport.
- All food and materials are included.
- Unfortunately, accommodation is not provided.

Biblical School Open Information Forum
11:00am - 6:30pm
The New England Catholic Biblical School is hosting an open forum information session for all those who wish to learn more about the biblical school. This information session will discuss how biblical school can renew one's faith life as well as provide insight into the mysteries of the bible. You may choose to participate at either 11 am or 6:30 pm on July 28th and may attend either in-person or online.
