Called to Witness Recognition Dinner

Honoring Those Who Share the Faith with the Next Generation

We are excited to announce a new diocesan tradition: Called to Witness—a celebration of the catechists, volunteers, and leaders who inspire and accompany our young people in the journey of faith.

Each parish is invited to name a “Catechist of the Year”, someone whose commitment to children, teens, or families reflects the joy of the Gospel and the mission of the Church.

In addition, parishes may nominate individuals for diocesan and national recognition in categories such as:

• Excellence in Youth Ministry


• Leadership in Family Faith Formation


• Lifetime Achievement in Catechesis


• Innovative Use of Media in Evangelization


• Rising Leader in Faith Formation


• And more!
