Gathering for Faith Formation Leaders (Deanery E)
Join fellow Faith Formation leaders for a time of connection, collaboration, and shared learning, while Ana Arista discusses Welcoming Children and Families in Christian Initiation.
These gatherings are designed to foster meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges facing our ministries, celebrate what is working well, identify areas where support may be needed, and explore ways to strengthen faith formation efforts in our parishes. Together, we will encourage one another, share resources, and deepen our commitment to our shared mission of accompanying people in their journey of faith.
About the Presentation
Before the Easter Vigil, OCIA Rites, or even the Period of Inquiry occurs, comes a welcoming conversation and a posture of hospitality with families. In this session, presented by a seasoned catechetical leader and national catechetical consultant, we'll discuss best practices in welcoming children and their families. Come and see how to facilitate early conversations to encourage families in their faith journey. Show the love of Christ through hospitality and provide meaningful encounters, not only in this stage, but throughout the OCIA journey.
