Involving the Parish Community in OCIA Process & Best Mystagogy Practices

Join OCIA Coordinators, Directors of Religious Education, and Pastors in conversation about how we continue to improve our initiation ministries. This is a great opportunity to learn and bring questions.
Amy McEntee will be joining this conversation with a presentation that will focus on two separate but interrelated topics: How to Involve the Parish Community in the Process of OCIA and The Best Practices for Mystagogy. In other words, this presentation will focus on how we can help the gathered community build relationships with those seeking full initiation into the Church as well as how we can support newly initiated members of the Church in continuing their journey beyond the reception of sacraments.
This event will be taking place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. You may join us at whichever time works best for you.
About Our Speaker
Amy McEntee earned her MA in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton and has ministry experience in the areas of faith formation for children, youth, and adults. Throughout her ministry, Amy has served as a teacher, parish catechetical leader, teacher service program coordinator, and diocesan staff member. Amy has presented locally, nationally and virtually particularly in the areas of catechist formation, young adult ministry and technology in ministry. Along with her masters degree, Amy also holds degrees in education, theology, and management. Currently she is the Publisher for RCL Benziger, a reluctant runner and avid reader. She lives with her husband, Patrick, in Dayton, Ohio.
