Living Into OCIA
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) invites us to move beyond simply preparing people for the sacraments and instead walk with them on their journey of faith. This workshop will explore the revised Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, clarify which process to use for various circumstances, and offer practical strategies to shift from a “catch up” model of sacramental preparation to a spirit of true accompaniment. Whether you’re new to initiation ministry or have years of experience, this session will provide valuable insights to help you fosters deeper conversion and discipleship for those approaching the sacraments.
Join us for one of two conversations (one on Friday and one on Saturday) to unpack what is new, what’s not, and how we can live into this new Order in our parish families.
Come with your questions and challenges. Leave with a better understanding of where we go from here.
This event is free. Simply register using the form below.
