Anxiety is a common issue among teenagers, with nearly one in three adolescents experiencing an anxiety disorder. This has been on the rise, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which increased stress and isolation. The effects of anxiety on teenagers can be profound, leading to depression, substance use, and even suicidal thoughts. It can also interfere with their ability to focus and learn, causing academic problems that can have long-term impacts. Additionally, chronic anxiety can result in physical symptoms like headaches, stomachaches, and sleep problems.
