Informing One’s Conscience
Informing one’s conscience is essential for Catholic teenagers as it helps them discern right from wrong and make moral decisions aligned with their faith. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, a well-informed conscience is the “interior voice” that guides individuals to act in accordance with God’s will. This process involves prayer, reflection, and education in the teachings of the Church.
No one is above seeking forgiveness. With the hope in God’s mercy, trusting in His love for us, this should be an invitation to seek forgiveness with all our mind and heart. Look through/pray with this examination of conscience and share it with your child.
