Obedience

Obedience is a fundamental virtue in the Catholic faith, especially for teenagers. It helps them develop responsibility, respect for authority, and self-discipline. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, obedience is a moral habit by which one carries out the order of their superior with the intent of fulfilling God’s will. This virtue fosters a sense of security and structure, which can positively impact their mental health by promoting healthy relationships and reducing behavioral problems.

Obedience must be reclaimed as a response to genuine life that opens up to a greater freedom than we can imagine. This article helps us see why.
