Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco

When the Seaver family plans a camping trip to Canada, they decide to bring their beloved pets, Chance, Shadow, and Sassy, along for the adventure. But things go awry at the airport when Chance escapes his carrier, believing he’s being sent back to the pound. When Shadow and Sassy follow, they find themselves lost in the bustling streets of San Francisco while their family flies off to Canada without them.

Navigating the urban jungle proves far different from their previous wilderness adventure, as the trio encounters threatening street dogs, dogcatchers, and the daily dangers of city life. Meeting a group of friendly streetwise strays proves helpful, but their distrust of humans makes Chance question his own loyalty to his family, and he finds himself torn between the comfort of human love and the allure of independence.

This sequel to Homeward Bound maintains the charm of the original while exploring new urban adventures. While it admittedly may not capture the same magic as the first film, it still delivers positive messages about friendship and perseverance. The film is rated G and is family friendly.
