
Max
Justin is a rebellious teenager who resents his older brother Kyle for leaving home to join the military. When Kyle is killed during a mission, the family is devastated. Things become more complicated when Kyle’s military working dog Max returns home traumatized and unruly, and the aggressive dog is scheduled to be put down. Though he never wanted the responsibility, Justin finds himself adopting Max to save the dog’s life, becoming the only person who can help him heal.
As Justin works with Max, aided by a dog-savvy friend, the two begin to heal each other’s wounds. Justin becomes more responsible while Max learns to trust someone again. When Justin and Max stumble upon a local criminal operation, their teamwork is put to the test as they work together to expose the truth.
This family adventure blends themes of grief, healing, loyalty, and redemption with action-packed sequences, celebrating the bond between dogs and their handlers, and honoring those who fell while serving. The film is rated PG, but includes some intense action and minor violence.
