The Muppets Take Manhattan

Fresh out of college, Kermit the Frog and his friends are convinced their musical revue “Manhattan Melodies” is destined for Broadway stardom. They optimistically head to New York City to make their theatrical dreams come true, only to discover that breaking into show business is far more difficult than they’d imagined. After countless rejections, the group becomes discouraged and disbands.

Refusing to give up on his dream, Kermit stays in Manhattan, continuing to pitch the show to anyone who will listen. When he finally gets a chance to stage their musical, disaster strikes, leaving Kermit with amnesia and no memory of his friends. Now it’s up to Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang to help Kermit remember who he is and reunite for the show that could change their lives forever.

The final Muppet film to involve Muppet creator Jim Henson, The Muppets Take Manhattan delivers the classic Muppet mix of heartfelt sentiment, zany humor, and catchy tunes, all while exploring themes of friendship and diligent perseverance. Rated G, the film is suitable for all ages.
