Thirteen Lives

In Thailand, twelve boys from a soccer team and their assistant coach decide to explore a nearby cave after practice. When heavy monsoon rains arrive unexpectedly, the cave quickly floods, trapping all thirteen deep inside. Thai Navy SEALs attempt a rescue, but the narrow maze-like tunnels are too difficult to navigate. As waters continue to rise and oxygen levels drop, it becomes clear this will require expertise beyond what local forces can provide.

British cave divers arrive to assist, along with more expert divers from around the world. After days of diving through murky waters in dangerous passages barely wide enough for one person, they locate the boys, alive but stranded miles inside the mountain. The challenge now is far more daunting: bringing them out through the flooded labyrinth when even expert divers are risking their lives with every trip.

Based on the incredible true story of the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue, Thirteen Lives offers a harrowing survival drama that showcases courage, cooperation, and selfless sacrifice, honoring the divers and the thousands of volunteers who contributed to the effort. Rated PG-13 for some perilous action, intense drama, and brief strong language, the film is more appropriate for older viewers.
