Valiant

In May 1944, as World War II rages across Europe, a small pigeon named Valiant dreams of serving his country in the elite Royal Homing Pigeon Service. Despite his size, he’s determined to prove himself after hearing that carrier pigeons are desperately needed to carry vital messages across the dangerous English Channel.

After being rushed through training with a ragtag group of fellow recruits, Valiant and his squad are sent on their first dangerous mission, where they must retrieve an important message in France and deliver it back to Britain. Their assignment becomes even more perilous when they encounter a menacing German falcon and his squadron of deadly birds determined to stop Allied communications. With the enemy falcons hunting them and time running out, Valiant sets out to prove that even the smallest pigeon can make the biggest difference.

Rated G, the movie contains mild wartime peril and some cartoon violence, but offers positive messages about courage and friendship, showcasing the virtue of serving something greater than yourself.
