Adult Confirmation Formation Fall 2022

If you are an adult (over 18) and a practicing Catholic who somehow missed Confirmation when you were younger, make plans to join us for a workshop to discover all you need to know to prepare to celebrate this great sacrament.

Please note: The term "practicing Catholic" presumes that you attend Mass and are registered in a specific parish. If you are not, please register and begin attending Mass as part of this process.

We will discuss the paperwork you need to gather and form you so you can receive the sacrament of Confirmation, required for those who wish to serve as a Godparent or Sponsor for someone else's Confirmation. It's also recommended for those preparing for marriage.

This is a hybrid course. Once you register and attend this session, you will then be required to complete a short online course in LEAD (which we will show you at this event).

Those who prepare for Confirmation in the Fall or early Spring will join an already-scheduled Confirmation at a parish in the Diocese of Bridgeport. Those who are prepared in late Spring will receive the sacrament at their respective parish on Pentecost Sunday 2023.
