Day of Prayer and Laughter for all administrative staff ft. Chris Padgett

We all agree that some of the hardest working people in our parishes are our secretaries, bookkeepers, administrative assistants, and office staff.
To thank the faithful members of our teams for their work and to offer them the opportunity to pray and laugh together, we are inviting all members of your parish administrative team to a workshop on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Catholic Center.
The day will begin with breakfast at 9 am, followed by opening prayer and comments from Bishop Caggiano. Then we will turn the day over to Chris Padgett, nationally known artist, writer, and comedian. Chris will lead participants through reflections, opportunities for sharing, and, I promise, lots of laughter. The day will conclude at 2:30 pm.
We strongly encourage you to either close your parish office that day or recruit volunteers to provide staffing so that your administrative team can attend. Like you, I believe it is important that they know how much we appreciate all their hard work.
There is no cost. To register, please use the form below. You may define administrative staff however you wish and, of course, you are welcome to attend for the whole day or just join us for lunch.
About Christ Padgett:
Chris Padgett is a popular speaker, musician, and author who has traveled around the world for over two decades giving concerts, talks, parish missions and retreats to all ages about the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. A convert to Catholicism, he also taught at Franciscan University of Steubenville and currently teaches with Catholic Distance University in between speaking and writing engagements. In 2018 Chris and Linda began a non profit ministry to encourage, equip and empower families and marriages (www.catholicfam.org).
