How To Lead A Small Group
Small Groups Make The Difference
One of the many ideas that Bishop Caggiano has been sharing in his regional conversations is the power of small groups. Indeed, it was small groups of men and women that shaped the early Church as they shared their faith with one another in those early years after Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Many parishes already have successful small groups in place: Bible studies, men’s groups, book clubs, RCIA, mom’s groups, and more.
To help leaders of small groups and to assist those who wish to begin setting up new small groups, the diocese will offer formation specifically for these leaders. This formation day will include practical skills, how to improve your small group experience, how to get started, and how to grow your already flourishing small group experiences.
About Our Speaker
Our guide for the session will be Kelly Lippenholz, an accomplished speaker and presenter on ministry, small group dynamics, and building communities. She is on staff at Nativity Church in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
