Rich Curran, founder of Parish Success Group, will lead a special track throughout the diocesan ministry day specifically for parish pastoral council members. Since Bishop Caggiano decreed in June 2019 that all parishes establish a parish pastoral council “for the good of the faithful of the diocese,” we thought it would be helpful to offer formation for council members. These workshops are open only to you and your parish council members and will focus on the following topics:

• The role of the parish pastoral council
• Growing new leadership
• Planning for the future
• Setting realistic goals
• Communicating your vision

Rich is a national Catholic speaker and ministry coach who addresses more than 50,000 youth and adults each year. He is the author of We Lack for Nothing: Five Essentials to Grow Your Church and countless articles and blogs. Rich is a regular presenter at national, regional and diocesan Catholic conferences, school assemblies, parish missions and staff leadership days. He holds master’s degrees in both education and pastoral ministry from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota.
