Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

In this sequel to the Christmas classic Home Alone, the young Kevin McCallister once more finds himself separated from his family when he accidentally gets on the wrong plane at the airport, winding up in New York City instead of Florida.

Fortunately Kevin has experience being on his own, and, with his father’s credit card, soon treats himself to a nice holiday vacation in a luxury hotel. But, just as his luck would have it, the bandits who broke into his home the previous year are also on the loose in the city, busy planning a bigger, better heist.

While seasoned movie-watchers may admittedly find that this sequel does not perhaps have the heart of the original, it may still provide a healthy dose of laughs and holiday cheer as it once again celebrates the gift of family and togetherness at Christmastime.

The film is rated PG, but, like the first film, features some slapstick violence.
