Luck

Sam Greenfield is plagued by bad luck wherever she goes. She’s constantly dropping stuff, getting stuck, and losing things. Even her toaster refuses to work right. But when she picks up a lucky penny, her luck changes; everything begins to work perfectly and fall right into place. Rather than buy a lottery ticket, though, she decides to give the lucky penny to a young friend in a foster home who’s hoping to be adopted.

But her bad luck wins out when she loses the penny, and, while trying to get it back, inadvertently finds herself in the magical Land of Luck, where leprechauns, goblins, and other mythical creatures create and process all the good and bad luck in the world. With the help of a lucky Scottish cat, Sam hopes to escape back to the human world with another lucky penny before her bad luck ruins everything.

Luck is a light-hearted family-friendly adventure comedy that explores the nature of luck, pointing out that, whether your luck is good or bad, it’s ultimately what you do with it that matters.
