The Emperor’s New Groove

The young and self-centered Emperor Kuzco (David Spade) enjoys a life of luxury, with grand plans to destroy a nearby village and build a lavish summer home. But his selfish ways come back to bite him when his devious ex-advisor attempts to poison him in a bid for the throne. But instead of killing him, the botched potion transforms Kuzco into a llama.

Lost in the wild and desperate to regain his human form, Kuzco reluctantly enlists the help of Pacha (John Goodman), a kind-hearted peasant whose village Kuzco had planned to destroy. Together, the mismatched duo embark on a hilarious journey to return Kuzco to the palace while evading his would-be assassin and her dimwitted henchman’s relentless pursuit.

The Emperor’s New Groove is a buddy comedy featuring the crazy, over-the-top humor that only animation can deliver. Beneath the wild antics, it’s also about the value of friends and family, and the spiritual emptiness of selfishness and greed. Rated G, it’s lighthearted fun for all ages.
