Catholic Scouting promotes the spiritual and character development of the Scouts involved. Through the Catholic Scouting emblem application, the diocese accompanies families in their encounter with Christ and helps strengthen their faith.
The Catholic Religious Emblem Awards are elective awards that Scouts can earn to further develop and deepen their faith. Scouting in a Catholic context gives families and young people a greater appreciation of their call to holiness and service. It also provides them an opportunity to evangelize and bring others closer to Christ by giving witness to the values Scouting espouses.
