Fourth Week of Advent: Peace

Opening Prayer

Father of all, grant peace to our troubled world,
to every troubled home, and to each troubled heart.
May these final days of Advent be a time of inner tranquility.
May I have utter confidence that,
no matter what might be going on around me,
your loving Providence is still at work.
May I live in this world as a bringer of Christ’s peace,
shining the light of divine love
into every place darkened by fear or hatred.
Grant my prayer through Jesus Christ, your Son and my Savior. Amen.

Advent Baking

Rosca de Reyes

Rosca de Reyes Recipe (Three Kings Bread) is a round-shaped Mexican and Spanish bread garnished with “jewels” to represent a crown and a “baby doll” inside to celebrate Epiphany.

Traditionally, they are not filled, but I really like the flavors of buttery cinnamon rolls and wanted the same comforting flavors.
