Ender’s Game

“The way we win matters.”

In the wake of an alien attack that nearly destroyed the human race, the International Fleet is training the next generation of soldiers, starting from a very young age. Among the gifted children recruited is Ender Wiggin, whose exceptional skills and strategic mind make him the best hope to lead the intense “Battle Room” simulations preparing Earth’s forces for the next inevitable invasion.

Separated from his family and placed under the grueling demands of Battle School, Ender has little trouble rising through the ranks. But the deeper he’s drawn into the Battle School’s intense mind games, the more Ender begins to question the motivations of his superiors and the cost of the sacrifices he’s being asked to make.

Based on the acclaimed sci-fi novel by Orson Scott Card, Ender’s Game is a futuristic adventure that asks timeless moral questions about the nature of war. When is compassion warranted? When is ruthlessness necessary? Is there a price too high to pay when it comes to ensuring victory? Rated PG-13 for some mild violence and language, the film is more appropriate for older viewers.
