Moana

Released in 2016, Moana tells the tale of a chief’s daughter from the Polynesian island Motunui. She must go on a quest – one that is filled with danger, delight, and song – to return goddess Te Fiti’s heart to her. 

This film tells a twisting narrative of hope, faith, determination, and self-discovery as Moana sails the seas to save her village. Any viewer can learn the lesson of persistence and self-confidence from Moana.
